Hi!

 

I'm Nin, and for the past 25 years, I've been crafting illustrations. Art has been my lifelong companion, as I've been writing and drawing for as long as I can remember. Still very young I found in art -in making and appreciating it- a way to find myself in the world to deal with adversity and prejudice.

“How to welcome beings who have just arrived in this world?  and 

 how to produce a world more apt to receive them?”

​

these two issues guide much of my production.

 

I believe that besides listening and learning with Kids, books, art and creativity have many clues to help us to guide us closer to the essence of these inquires. :)

Personal projects and other works

I usually work with a limited color palette, with coffee playing a small but constant role in my process.

 

My work moves between traditional and digital techniques, often combining watercolor, ink and collage with digital painting.

 

I’m especially drawn to images that carry their own quiet narratives — small moments that can grow into entire worlds inside a book.
